The menu bar is alll the way at the top of your computer screen and has file, edit, view,history, boookmarks, windows,help.
The options bar is just below the menu bar.
The tool bar is on the right side of the screen in photoshop
The layers pallete is on the right hand side in photo shop and holds your layers
